When COVID-19 sent Hoboken School Employees Federal Credit Union employees home just before the scheduled April 2020 conversion, credit union CEO Bill Slootmaker faced a major decision: postpone the conversion with no clear indication of when things would be back to normal, or forge ahead with a virtual conversion they had never attempted before.
